Rose District ChatGPT app privacy

Effective October 9, 2026. Rose District operates this app to search and display public homes on a map within ChatGPT, compare homes, prepare moving checklists and contact links, and calculate hypothetical seller proceeds.

Information processed and why

When ChatGPT calls a tool, we receive its structured inputs: selected city, price range, property preferences, public listing identifiers, moving goal and timeline, contact purpose, or sale prices and cost assumptions. Cost assumptions can include mortgage payoff, commission percentage, closing costs, repairs, credits, and other costs. These amounts may be personal financial information if you use real figures. You can use hypothetical figures instead.

We use those inputs only to generate the requested result and return it to ChatGPT. The app does not request your name, email, phone number, property street address, account numbers, identity documents, or full conversation. Do not include these in tool inputs. Request metadata, including IP address, request path, time, status, and technical headers, may be processed to deliver the service, limit abuse, and diagnose failures.

Who receives information

Vercel hosts the app and processes requests on our behalf. OpenAI receives tool results and separately processes your conversation under its own policies. Authorized Rose District administrators can access hosting operational records for maintenance. For live listings, search criteria and public listing identifiers pass through the Rose District website service to CRMLS/Trestle to retrieve eligible listing information. The embedded map requests map tiles from OpenStreetMap, which can receive your IP address, browser request metadata, and the map area being viewed. Listing photos load from approved CRMLS/Trestle photo hosts, which can receive similar request metadata and the requested public photo identifiers. Fonts and the Rose District logo are bundled with the component. The app does not request your device location. The app does not send tool inputs to our CRM, advertising services, or agents. It does not sell tool inputs, use them for advertising, or enroll you in marketing.

Storage and retention

The application processes tool inputs in memory for the request; it does not intentionally persist them in a database, files, or application logs. Memory is reclaimed by the runtime. The app uses one-minute IP-derived rate-limit counters; its website listing service uses the website API's 15-minute rate-limit window. These counters are held in process memory and periodically cleaned up. Search criteria may appear in website and provider request URLs and operational records. Provider metadata retention follows the relevant provider policies, including OpenStreetMap Foundation and Cotality.

Vercel separately retains operational records. Its published runtime-log retention for Pro hosting is one day, or up to 30 days with Observability Plus. This is a hosting log window, not a promise that every provider security or administrative record is deleted on that schedule. Other provider records follow Vercel's privacy policy. ChatGPT conversations and tool results are retained according to your OpenAI account settings and OpenAI's privacy policy. Rose District does not control that retention.

Your choices and requests

You can use hypothetical inputs, stop using or disconnect the app, and manage or delete conversations through ChatGPT's controls. Disconnecting prevents future use; it does not itself delete an existing ChatGPT conversation. To ask about access, correction, deletion, or other applicable privacy rights for information handled by Rose District, use our contact page and identify the request as concerning the ChatGPT app. Do not send account credentials. We cannot retrieve past tool inputs that we did not store; requests concerning OpenAI-held conversations should also be directed to OpenAI.

Optional website visits

The app displays listings and offers optional website links. It does not submit forms, book appointments, or request valuations on your behalf. Opening a search link sends its search criteria to the Rose District website. Information you choose to submit there is governed by the website privacy policy and that form's consent choices. This app's static pages do not add analytics scripts or set application cookies.
